Who We Work With
We offer effective online therapy for people from all different backgrounds and circumstances but we also specialize in the following areas that impact most neurodivergent people.
-
ADHD & ADD
ADHD and ADD have been wildly misunderstood and under diagnosed in some communities and over diagnosed in others. This lack of understanding has left many people, especially late diagnosed adults with ADHD, searching for answers on how to cope and manage all the pieces that can come with an ADD or ADHD diagnosis. We specifically work with adults with ADD and ADHD to offer strengths focused therapy as well as therapy centered around the practical, emotional and relationship challenges many people with ADD and ADHD experience.
-
Autism
Sometimes, no matter how hard you try, it feels like you’re stuck on the outside looking in. If you’ve been questioning if autism is you or recently learned that you are autistic and need to connect with someone who wants to learn about your experience, we’re here for it. Autism has long been stigmatized and stereotyped in mental and behavioral health communities. It is because of this, we work to provide a safe place for you to process and explore the challenges, strengths and complex emotions around being an autistic adult.
-
F*ck Masking
Forgive our language, but for real, masking is traumatic. Many neurodivergent people have been subjected to harmful masking practices that are often a source of guilt, shame and grief. We want to help you heal from the masking trauma and provide you with the support you need to deconstruct masking to find authenticity. This work can be very challenging but also empowering. For many, masking is about survival and safety but if you are sick of only surviving and want to start actually living as your authentic self, we’re here for it and want to help you get there.
-
Burnout & Decision Paralysis
Burnout and neurodiversity are very closely linked. In part because it is emotionally and physically exhausting to live in a world that was not made for you. Survival mode, everyday, will wear you down to the point of experiencing intense depression, melt downs or feel like you are drowning. Burnout and decision paralysis often go hand in hand. As affirmative clinicians we approach burnout & decision paralysis in a way that helps foster your mind-body connection, learn your unique warning signs, and support you in gaining tools that help regulate and motivate you.
We want to connect with you and we have appointments available as soon as you are ready.
